Yes i know it's not Valentine's day until 5 and a bit week, but i want time to clear my head and decide on what to do.I've been friends with this girl for about 4 and a bit 5 years, and before that we went out together but kind of didn't work out as we were both young. Over the years i've started to grow deeper feelings for her and i told her that i love her and she still wants to be my friend, but before that she asked me out once than the next day she said she didn't mean it she wasn't drunk she was confused about her feelings i think. We haven't really been seeing or speaking to one another over the last two years, but i did take her out a few years ago to a couple of comedy show tho, We still remember each others birthdays and send wishes, So i was wondering should i send her some flowers on Valentine's day i was thinking some bun's cupcakes or cookies if i can find ones that haven't been made in a nut environment and or 20 mix roses of reds,pinks,whites and yellows, i want to express my feelings without it being over the top and needy as actions speak louder than words, should i go with what my heart says which is go for it and try, or what my head says which is still in two minds weather i should or not. I'll be sending the gift anonymously to her house so when she gets back from work she'll get a surprise with a poem or a few words to sum it up as she means the world to me but i don't think she knows it, she know i like her but she doesn't realise how much. If all goes well and no lost friend not that it should come to that as she isn't that type of person i'm going to try and ask her out the next time i see her which i think may be her birthday if i'm invited two months 10 weeks after.

So I dated this guy about a year ago and we've always been close friends so we started dating. But the problem was he got into smoking weed and stuff like that but that was after years of being best friends. Update I sent flowers to my wife's office yesterday a very nice large bouquet in a vase . I have sent her flowers to her many times before. It had been awhile, so I thought I would send her some yesterday " just because." The first time I sent her flowers to her office, she called very excited and ooohing and ahhhing. She even sent me pictures of them. She would tell me that all the girls she works with wished their husbands would send flowers etc. Consequently, I tried to make the effort to keep the flowers coming and keep her " feeling loved." I sent her flowers about 4 months ago. This time, I didn't even get a phone call acknowledging that she had received them. Thinking that the florist may have not delivered them, I called and asked if she received a package. She stated that security notified her that she had a delivery of flowers but she just didn't have time to go get them she works on the 7th floor and security is on the first . Her cube is right by the elevator and it would take 5 minutes to get them. She never said thank you...nothing. The first few times I sent her flowers, she kept them at her desk until they were wilted and then brought them home a kept them for a few more days. This time, she brought them home right away.I had forgotten about this. So, yesterday, I sent her flowers again. No phone call. Once again, thinking the florist may not have delivered, I called her and asked if she had received anything. She said security notified her but, she didn't have time to go get them. No thank you. No, " how sweet" ...nothing. This time I was piXXed. I said my business partner's wife always seems happy to receive flowers etc. She flattly said that she was planning on saying thank you when I got home from work and that she needed to go now.I came home from work and...there were the flowers she used to keep them at her desk . She was about to go for a bike ride and didn't say anything about them. I said, " I guess you don't like the flowers?" She said she resented that I would expect any type of reaction and said who cares how your business partners wife reacts when she gets them. " you have no idea how busy my day was and you obviosly don't even care Besides, our relationship is different then theirs." She left this morning, smelling of perfume, never said good bye and never answered the phone when I called her.WTF
