Question: A last-minute gift for a friend's birthday? i don't know what to buy a 17yo girl?

For a 17- year- old girl. man, she's throwing a party, and I've known about it for a few days, but I completely forgot it was her birthday until a few hours ago (the party is tonight, I have like 4 hours to go buy something). I'm not sure if it's specifically a BIRTHDAY party, but it IS a party, and it IS her birthday, so I can't show up empty- handed. she's a good friend, I don't want to look like an ass. I don't know what to buy a teenage girl? lol.

If she's not too serious of a girl, buy a box and put 17 cents in it. But make it a small box and make it super hard to get in to. Use duct tape and stuff. (: I got that as a present on my birthday and it took me half an hour to open the box. Best.16. Cents. Ever.

If she has an ipod I would say a itunes gift card, or maybe a gift card to the mall. If you don't want to give money then get a picture frame or something she can use in her room, a poster!!!
