Why wont my girlfriend let me buy her gifts?
This hasn't annoyed me until recently. Tonight she is off with another guy who invited her to the American Idiot show on Broadway. She paid for herself but she is going with him because he asked her to go with him. I'm quite perplexed as to why she would do this. She never asked for me to see it with her yet she wishes to spend money out of her own pocket to see it with someone else? Oh and she's sleeping at his place tonight which adds to my worries jealousy. I want to make her happy and do things she wants to do but she doesn't have as deep as a pocket as I do and she never lets me pay for her stuff

So I have been dating this new girl for a little over 6 weeks or so and everything is great except for one thing. She has basically been having guys that she has no intention of ever dating but they wanna take her to dinners, concerts, give her money, etc. It's almost ridiculous. So it bothers me even though I know she has no interest in them. Most of them.she has been pushing aside. So Sunday the local youth pastor that's 20 years older than her wants to take her to a concert but I don't want her to go. Basically I want her to stop completely but obviously she has been getting anything she could want from these fools. And the youth pastor tells her he just wants to help her and that it.makes him feel better. So I asked if he would be mad if he knew about me and she said probably. I know that she really likes me and she says that she won't go but I'm frustrated with all of it. What should I do here or what do you think she should do???

I live solely with my grandmother and 7 year old brother. My grandmom gave me a ton of nice things for Christmas. 2 digital ereaders so I could pick between the two, clothes, a cell phone, around ten movies, around 10 computer games, shoes, beautiful jewelry, and much more. On average, I'd say I got around 52 gifts.I said thank you and gave her a hug. I sat and looked at and smiled at of them. But she was saying, " I didn't see her your headphones, I didn't see you hold anything up." I'm vey grateful for the gifts and I know its more than I deserve. I can be a real bi ch sometimes but she is verbally abusive to me on a daily basis but gives lovely gifts. How do I express my thanks more? Do you think I failed to do enough? My brother ran up and showed her gifts and got all physically exited. But I feel stupid and awkward doing that. Why does my wife not know how to react when I buy her gifts?
We have been married for two years and I buy her gifts randomly and its always very nice and expensive stuff. When she opens it she will smile and act shy and say thank you and give me a hug but shes so calm about it and turns red whenever she opens something.
