Okay so there is this girl I met and I have known her for a while now. Unfortunately I met her in the UK and went back to the US after a one year abroad studying program. We met and we have been talking every single day on the phone for about three hours. It's not a problem because we skype. Anyways, we have really fallen for each other, and we are very open. She said she has never met anyone like me, and she's falling for me, and I'm happy because I am starting to feel the same way. Anyways, I wanted to send her a gift for Christmas and since I cannot send myself in the mail, or send a gift in the mail her parents read all of her mail, even though she's 20 . So I was thinking since I cannot send her anything, I can just send her something online. So she never met my brothers, my friends, or anyone like that, I would make her a twenty minute video showing and talking about my friends, my siblings, my life, and my country. I also want to make it a little humorous when I show my friends, like doings stupid and funny things, and somewhat serious at the end to show her this gift is from the heart. Do you think this is a good idea? What else should I do? What things should I include in the video?
How can I get an expensive gift for christmas when where having $$ troubles?
Im a 14 year old girl, I understand that money's tight and we have to spend wisely, But my sister has children 6 years and 3. and My parents go all out and buy them stuff not expensive, just little stuff but its still alot I mean I get gifts and stuff, But im not spoiled, The only thing I want is a mac laptop and a couple books and a nice journal to write in. For once I'd like something expensive and nice. How can I convince my parents to get it for me? I really only want 3 things My dad buys shi$ for himself all the time, A laptop, golf clubs, a smartphone, etc but when it comes to buying me nice things he freaks the fu %k out, He doesnt even let me buy clothes I have to wear hammy downs or stuff from walmart S My mom totally agrees that I should atleast get the clothes and stuff I listed but up there, but the laptop she thinks is just a joke, I own a crappy mini windows xp laptop and I mean I take good care of it but its $hit. Plus I like to write books and edit movies special effects etc and thats why I think I should get the mac and for school papers. and no I cant get a job and get it myself My parents just filed for bankruptcy and there stuff has been all cleared so everythings okay now, Where not going to lose our home we never where any ways. or any of our stuff, And my dad makes a pretty decent amount of money, Bills just accumulated from the years because my dad is really bad when it comes to money S Any Ideas on what I should do?

On Christmas morning my husband opened the four gifts from me and the others from the kids and guess what he did? He told me right before opening gifts, in front of the kids, that he didn't get me anything for Christmas. I am sooo hurt and I hope you don't mind me sharing, but this is one of the many reasons why I always leave him again. He knows how insecure I can be, how hard I have been working on being totally, truly, well. What a kick in the gut, blow to the heart, and now I have had myself locked up in my room since Christmas morning. I don't leave the room for anything. Trying to decide if I should stay or go and get a room for rent and start over. It's not just that he didn't get a gift, it is not about the gift at all. It is the thought and he didn't even think enough of me to even do that. It is the old cliche of the icing on the cake of all the times he hurts me and doesn't consider me. I am worth way more then that and I can't help but feel as though if I were prettier or younger, he would care to take care of me the way I so lovingly care and consider him. I don't know what to do, I will miss my kids if I am not here, but there is no way right now that I can rent more then a room in the next town over where I work. And since all of them are hooked on video games, it wouldn't take long for this home to crumble. I am sad and tired and any outside looking in advice is welcome & appreciated.I am not neglecting my duties as a mother and wife. If I were then I wouldn't always do all that I do for our family and home. How dare you even suggest otherwise, for you do not know me. Our kids are adult children, almost about to go to college, they are 19 & 20. As I said, it is the thought that counts. If it isn't video games, football, or his music, he pays no attention, ever. This was just the straw that broke the camels back to me. I want more then ever to be here at home with him, but seriously, who treats the one they love like that? And yes, locking myself in my room is a lot better then hurting myself, to give myself room to heal and stop crying. Walk in my shoes before you say it is overreacting.
My boyfriend failed to get me the right gifts for christmas. How can I deal with my anger & frustration?
A little long, but please bare with me. I really need your help as I am still extremely angry with him.My 21 year old boyfriend of 2 years is such an idiot and knows nothing about buying gifts for a woman. For the past 8 months, I've been living and working in Germany. When it came to purchasing a christmas present to send to me, he couldn't have made bigger mistakes if he tried.Firstly, he bought two packets, one of each flavour of my favourite lollies back home in Australia. He also bought me an extremely beautiful and expensive journal with an incredible artistic marble art piece incorporating a violet butterfly. He ordered this along with a " Love Letters From Italy Boxed Notecards and Envelopes Set" which is presented in a gorgeous plastic covered envelope, both ordered from Italy. Pity Butterflies aren't my favourite, but the notecards and envelopes have a great artbox design.He then purchased a DVD of the first movie we saw together on our first date and which I haven't seen since but loved and another two additional DVDs. These being a movie which I really wanted to see before leaving for Germany which I can't pick up in stores here and another which was a two disc documentary set on the history of ballet. Ballet is one of my many interests and passions. Speaking of Ballet, he got me a complete guide to all the technical terms in the discipline and a beautiful calender containing pictures from The Royal Australian Ballet. He purchased two German lottery tickets for me via a friend of his who lives near me here, bought a nice printed art work card and finished it all of by containing everything in a pink patterned box with a nice ribbon.He then sent it all to me in the mail just in time for christmas. Even though all of it is beautiful, good quality and somewhat related to my interests in life, I am disappointed because at the end of the day it is a collection of things which I wouldn't purchase for myself if I was to go out to the shops. Because of this, I'm left with all these things which I've never really wanted and will just take up unwanted space. He had the chance to make sure that any presents he gave me were things which I would buy by myself or which I wanted. Instead he got me this collection of useless and definitely inappropriate items.I'm extremely disappointed and spent a fair amount of time crying after I received them. I was completely beside myself.It just proves that some men can't present the right gift for their girlfriends. I feel like he doesn't know me at all and am disapointed because I really thought he knew everything about me, including what I might like without me even having to tell him.I'm so angry with him. What should I do next? How can I deal with this bitter disappointment and negative feelings for him at the moment?I'm neither thankyou Harson.I feel like I would buy myself jewellery at the moment. Why do people put so much focus on gifts for Christmas?
My friend made it a point to say that her gift for me wasn't as expensive as normal because money is tight. And I told her a gift does not matter. It's the thought and I prefer the cards anyways. And she said you really a serious person aren't you? I don't know what that means. Can you explain it?
I want to stop giving and getting gifts for christmas. How do I tell this to my family?
I'm starting to get annoyed with the concept of showering people with gifts for Christmas. For 2 reasons...1 it's expensive and 2 I want to start focusing more on Jesus' birth. Last year I told my family that I would just like to give gifts to the kids. I told them I did not want anything. However, they all bought me something and I bought them something...out of feeling obligated. This year, I have bought no gifts for the adults in my family. Only cards with handwritten message. I really hope they didn't buy me anything...but I assume they did. How do I overcome this awkward situation when they hand me a gift and I hand them only a card? And how do I get it through to them that I don't want anything next year?

I have a friend who's 16 yrs old and since Christmas is coming up I thot I'd get him something.. My problem is I don't know wht to GET HIM AT ALL I know he likes video games and history stuff.. And he collects knives.. His fav color is gold or black and red as a combo.. And he likes to run a lot.. SOMEONE HELP ME He already has black ops. and about the knives his dad is a pilot so his dad brings him knives from different places and anything I've found so far he probably already has...
