ok. we just broke up. like 2 days ago. we're still facebook friends though. half the reason we broke up was cuz of this guy at her work who is always flirting with her and she just refused to put a stop to it. she accused me of not trusting her. it wasn't working out. i'm not asking how to work things out with her or anything like that. we also broke up cuz she was texting him for hours until crazy times like 2 3 sometimes. she wasn't cheating but...i didn't like it. i mean she often showed me the messages. i don't think she liked him but i'm pretty sure he likes her. well i saw on facebook that she's buying him a CD, well she asked him what the name of the cd he wants is. is it normal for a girl to buy a guy a CD like that? all along she has just claimed that they are good friends. no his birthday is not coming up.
Can't afford to buy friends gifts but they bought me something, what do I do?
I'm a single mom with zero extra funds at the end of each month. I always buy my friends' kids something for their birthdays, but haven't done friends' gifts in years as it just adds up so much and I really can't afford it I've asked that no one buy me anything for my bday as well, but this year my friends outdid themselves and several of them bought me very expensive gifts I was very appreciative obviously, but now as all of their birthdays are coming up I feel like I need to buy them something equally extravagant and I just can't afford it. Honestly when all is said and done I'm in overdraft after paying my bills, and most of them are married and making good money. So what do I do without looking cheap?
