Why don't we ladies buy men flowers, gifts, romance & court them if we're equal with men?
I mean, we're always taught that men are supposed to buy women candy, flowers, or that they're supposed to ask us out, etc. But why isn't it stressed for women to do the same for men? Why shouldn't we do it for the men we love,, be they our boyfriends, husbands, fathers, brothers, etc? Why can't we buy them gifts or treat them out to dinner, etc? Whatever happened to equality in society, which feminism is supposed to espouse?
My wife secretly gets flowers & gifts sent to her work from an ex lover. How angry do I have the right to be?
She says it's stopped now but I know they used to call and exchange emails behind my back. Cards and emails I found from him always addressed her as my angel, my love etc. She gets VERY defensive when I try to talk about it, goes into denial and calls me paranoid.
